2. Data Collected

When you submit a contact form on our site, we collect your name, email address and the content of your message, solely for the purpose of replying to you. This data is transmitted to Netlify (our hosting provider) and is never sold or shared with third parties for commercial purposes.

Netlify collects standard technical data (IP address, browser, pages visited) for infrastructure security and performance purposes. This data is not cross-referenced with your personal data.

3. Cookies and Local Storage

We store your cookie consent choice in your browser's localStorage (key ww_cx). This information does not leave your device and is not transmitted to third parties.

Our site embeds a Google Maps map loaded on page load. Google may place cookies on your device and collect your IP address and other browsing data. You can disable this by blocking third-party iframes in your browser settings.

Our site loads fonts from Google's servers (fonts.googleapis.com). This connection contacts Google's servers and may allow Google to collect your IP address. No cookies are placed through this mechanism.

5. Data Retention

Data submitted via forms is retained by Netlify according to their retention policy (30 days by default for free-tier forms). Whitworth does not maintain a customer database on its own servers.

Your cookie consent preference is stored locally until you clear your browser data.

Under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), you have the following rights:

• Right to erasure ("right to be forgotten")

We reserve the right to update this policy at any time. The date of the last modification is shown at the top of this page. In the event of a material change, a notice will be displayed on the site.
